With Josh (Patrick Wilson) and Renai (Rose Byrne) still coming to terms with the death of parapsychologist Elise, the Lambert family move into his grandmother Lorraine's home. However all is not well as Josh and Renai continue to experience the demonic forces that are set on turning their lives to chaos. I've watched horror since the 80s and I always compare what's new to what has went before it. Sadly this series of movies just falls flat from the pacing to just the scares in general. The director has no real clue what makes a horror movie. If you are not one that likes horror then I'm sure you will like it because you have no real frame of reference. Horror fans though stay clear.

Insidious 2 picks the story straight up and doves right into the terror. Every scene feels unsettling and the story is darker from the last. Though it falls into clichés of the modern horror film, Insidious strives in having that little bit extra. Whether its something that catches your eye or an exceptional score that keeps the fear flowing that little bit longer, Insidious 2 will definitely make you think twice about going to sleep.

Yeah I really had fun with this movie. I was really suprised at how good it was, the first one was brilliant. Didn't expect much from it since it was a horror sequel which you can never expect anything good from that. But I was surprised to see how good it was.
