About this movie

When his world is shattered by tragic events set in motion by the diabolical Joker, Superman becomes hell-bent on enforcing peace...at any cost. The Man of Steel begins a reign of tyranny that can only be stopped by one hero: Batman. The splintered Justice League divides its ranks as the two former allies wage a deadly battle for freedom. In this alternate world of chaos, loyalties are tested, and the line between friend and foe blurs. Based on the critically acclaimed video game and graphic novel, Injustice unleashes an all-out war fought by DC’s mightiest. Can the world survive?

The animation, in keeping with DC Animation tradition it seems, is sub-par and baring no resemblance to the styles of the games or comics. The story... Well, if you're a fan of Injustice you probably don't like fun stories anyhow, so yeah the writing is worse than that because it's an abbreviated form of it. Rushed and shoddy. I guess I managed to watch it though, so 3 stars.

Just based off watching the trailer. I can tell it's going to be disappointing, the animation style is weak and robotic. The run is only a hour and 18 minutes WTH. They finally turn Injustice into an animated movie and this is what they put out? DC used to reign when it came to animated films but Marvel's 'What If' is already surpassing them in that category as well. Time for a change DC this animation style is old and no longer appealing not being negative just being honest. Based onthe trailer

An interesting premise which falls apart by the end. My knowledge of the Games/Comics is limited but I can tell a lot of the story is abbreviated or skipped. Moments which should matter like character death are just sort of glossed over, some characters are really annoying or unlikable, and the way it expresses its themes feels silly towards the last part of the movie. There are a couple good moments of character development, but overall it's pretty mediocre.
