Not overly impressed. In the first movie the human race felt a bit helpless and it took some proper ingenuity (in relative terms) to actually defeat the aliens. However in this one the so called 'clever solution' was just too easy. And as for the whole Queen Alien concept....urrgh. Really wanted to love this film, but I can't. Perfectly watchable - but only the once.

It's utter rubbish! Plastic sets and plastic acting. What on earth was Geoff Goldblum thinking? In fact why did anyone sign up for this piece of trash. It's as if a teenager came up with the story line. Admittedly, I only made it as far as the first hour and 10 minutes - so my apologies if this got better and redeemed itself in the remainder. I somehow doubt it.

This movie has all the necessary ingredients i.e. romance, revenge, superb visual effects, a stirring soundtrack etc. to make it a great movie however it suffers a little from that old culprit, 'sequelitis'! It frequently seems to cover similar ground, Putting that aside, if your a big fan of the original then you won't be disappointed.
