So boring. Was expecting my views to be challenged, only thing that was were the disproportionate amount of cliché inspired visual representations of the self imposed struggle of a daily race baiting yawn fest. Give this a miss.

Outstanding adaption of the James Baldwin novel. Essentially a tender love story, but simmering below the surface is a scathing attack on injustice and racism in America during the 1960's.

Slow paced, but the cinematography is beautiful. The themes are well explored. The end would make any father tear up.
