I'm Your Man

A clever addition to the AI-driven humanoid robot genre, focusing on the psychological rather than the tech details, it challenges us to revisit our ideas of love and companionship. As the main character Alma reluctantly agrees to experience her custom-designed robot and write an evaluation, why not attempt your own evaluation alongside hers? (Spoiler Alert!) She was a little late in finding poetry in her AI interactions, as she was with her research on ancient cuneiform administrative records.

I really enjoyed this film. Subtle and thought provoking while charming. Not an easy combination. A nice breath of fresh air when you get done with Hollywood films that think their audience is so stupid they have to bludgeon them over the heads to get the point across.

It's indulging! The idea of falling in love with someone created for you, tailored for your every needs. This was such a good film. I can see how it can be unnatural but it's also satisfying seeing that their can be someone created just for you.
