About this movie

UNFORGIVING. UNCOMPROMISING. UNMERCIFUL. UNRATED. The original 1978 version of I Spit On Your Grave was reviled, condemned, and banned around the world for its graphic on-screen depictions of depravity and violence. Now experience the acclaimed remake that dares to go even further: Jennifer Hills (Sarah Butler) is a big-city novelist who rents an isolated country cabin to write her new book. But when she is brutally raped by a group of sadistic rednecks, Jennifer has plans for more than simple revenge. One by one she will find her attackers and will inflict horrific acts of agonizing torment upon them. And no jury in America will ever convict her. Jeff Branson (TV's ALL MY CHILDREN), Daniel Franzese (BULLY), Rodney Eastman (A NIGHTMARE ON ELM STREET 3 & 4), Chad Lindberg (THE FAST AND THE FURIOUS), and Tracey Walter (THE SILENCE OF THE LAMBS) co-star in this graphic, shocking, and undeniably disturbing new take on one of the most controversial films of all time.

This movie is just a upgrade of the 1978 version and its not for women to watch. I can't say it didn't want to watch the rest of it towards the end but she does get revenge. This movie is the average rape movie that enhances men's fantasies. Especially what or how they can get away with something like this with there friends being involved when its an gang rape situation. Men who see movies like this gives them ideas and just makes them become a beginner rapist. I'm sorry i watched this, but don't watch it

Yes, there are some gory bits in the film and the rape scene is bad, but the rape in Irreversible (French film) is much much worse. I didn't feel any pity for the guys in this film and they deserved everything (and more) of what they got. Story was ok, acting was ok too and overall I would say it was worth watching. If you are into 'sick' horror, you my be left disappointed.

The actors were extremely talented, I thought. No cheesy horror movie acting at all. I thought it was a good story. They focused on the rape scenes a lot in order to make you like the murder scenes more but as a woman, it was hard to watch and I couldn't get some scenes out of my head. They were the first murder scenes I enjoyed watching ever. However, I don't ever plan on watching it again. I just hate it that it will likely be torture porn for lots of people though and I am disturbed thinking about it.
