Hunter Killer

Finally, a well-crafted action-drama war movie! It has been a long time since I enjoyed a good war movie that was not an epic story with dozens of thousands of troops. Hunter Killer is simpler, but more catchy. Somewhere between Bridge of Spies and Hunt for Red October, this movie has no other intention but to entertain us with a good mix of well-balanced action, simple yet efficient plot, and enough drama to keep you focused. Of course, one could argue that we are still, in 2019, enshrined in Cold War inspired dramas, and that there's an urgent need to renew the spy-action-drama genre. But at least, Hunter Killer does not yield in to basic pro-American feelings. Served by a cast directly from H.R.H. Queen Elizabeth II's kingdom, the overall acting is where expected; not too low, nor too high. I wish more movies of this kind were made every year!

Hunter Killer is just one of those movies you either like it or hate it for me I liked it wasn't over the top may be few hit and misses in some scenes but still very satisfying to watch, my reason for liking this movie as their was no main central character in this movie every actor in this movie brought something to the film which made it stand out.it 's just not a submarine movie but a navy seals operation too. So two thumbs up on this movie I recommend rent it or buy it.

I've read some negative reviews and some good ones, personally I thought this movie was very well made. Not to much in the blood and guts category, but just the right amount of hostility to make a good action movie. It's been a while since I've enjoyed a good plot along with decent acting to make a thrilling war movie. Very well done.
