For competitive eaters like Pat "Deep Dish" Bertoletti, Brad "The Lunatic" Sciullo and six-time Nathan's Famous Fourth of July International Hot Dog-Eating Contest winner Takeru Kobayashi, it sounds like a regular day. Following a contract dispute with Major League Eating, the organization that holds a monopoly on the sport, Kobayashi was banned from their events, keeping him from entering hundreds of competitions in the United States. This film shows his struggles to rebuild his tarnished reputation and prove once and for all that he is the best competitive eater in the world.
