About this movie

Helmed by Rob Zombie, this gore fest follows two young couples on their quest to find the truth about a mythical character known only as "Dr. Satan." Set in rural Texas in the 1970s, the group gets more than they bargained for when they find themselves stranded in an all-too-realistic house of horrors.

Its a film that tries way to hard to be a 70s horror flick and comes off as a poorly acted, awful story told movie, and probably one of the movies I ever seen. I'm perfectly fine with gross scenes in movies but this just makes me feel like I have to take a shower after I'm done watching it. It's sleazy and it thinks way too highly of itself. This isn't worth the film it was shot on. One of the worst films I've ever seen.

This movie is sad, upsetting, depressing, it really messed with my head, I guess I rated it 3 stars because some would consider that a good thing for a horror movie, but I mean I am a fan of the hostel movies, Texas chainsaw movies, but this movie just takes it to a very real, very sick place, I wouldn't watch this if you have mental disorders like me, not a fun experience watching this movie, truly disturbing the way it's filmed, the story, the characters and what happens to them, the acting, the realism.

This movie is pure boring garbage. Rob Zombie should be ashamed of himself for this bit of ripoff trash. Its like he tried to mix the movies Wrong Turn, The Hills Have Eyes, The Rocky Horror Picture Show and The Texas Chainsaw Massacre together, then let people use the concoction as a public bathroom for two years and finally he got so completely wasted that he decided to call it a movie.
