About this movie

For Sam and Rylie an idyllic camping trip becomes an out of control nightmare. Seeking shelter on a local farm overnight when their car encounters trouble on the road, the couple find themselves at the mercy of an ageing farmer and her peculiar son. The kindness of strangers is always welcome but soon that kindness descends into hallucinogenic fuelled madness as their host begins to show her true colours... when the crops fail and the land is barren there's only one thing left to eat and that's a juicy lawn pig. Written and directed by Devereux Milburn. Starring Sawyer Spielberg in his debut feature role, Malin Barr (Top Dog) and Barbara Kingsley (Jessica Jones).

Wow finally a decent new horror movie from the 2020's! This was well worth waiting for - it's a mesmerising, tense psychological horror with a shocking conclusion that's well worth sticking with. Very well acted, the story grabs you and reels you in with a slow, impending dread. I couldn't look away - highly recommended!

Queasy horror. Nothing v memorable but not the worst we have seen recently. Overlong. Better off going with Wolf Creek or Texas Chainsaw. Or even im thinking of ending things if you fancy something more abstract/indie

Extremely poor. The acting wasn't bad, but the plot, the music, the ending, it was all just warped in a way that was neither scary nor particularly creepy, it was more a 'what was that? moment' The music was bizarre and didn't fit with the modern setting. The plot was very slow and predictable. It was very dull, and I really regret buying it full price. I feel ripped off.
