I'ma straight 63 year old heterosexual women with many friends of different varieties races and religions I love this movie I actually watched it two times right in a row. to me more than just being about people of different sexual persuasion and showing the difficulties... to me it was just a romance story how much they loved each other. because that really what life boils down to loving someone

This masterpiece is a classic in it's own category! You will fall in love with the charactors, and they will rip your heart out with sadness. Loved this movie all the way from the pages of the book! You won't be disappointed!

I saw the play in Sydney over 6 years ago, so that brought back memories in itself. Was nice to see the movie. Very emotional!
