Movie Review: Honestly the weakest Harry Potter film, but still very good and watchable. The cast - while not as strong here as they would grow to become - is solid and does a good job, while the way this film translates the book is great. Still, it's far too long and childish and a little dull, honestly (it only really makes sense to watch this at Halloween, since much of it really on that peroid's tropes.) I enjoy it, and it's good fun, but overall far from the best.

You need a proper setup to truly appreciate the film. It is hard to believe 1st HP movie is 20 years old now and it shows a bit. Picture has glow effect, very unpopular these days but is rather sharp producing significantly more details than DVD version I watched years ago. CGI holds up nicely considering it's from 2001. Sound focuses on front channels. There's not much surround effects. Only one disappointment. There is multiple languages to choose from but sadly no Polish.

Harry Potter is great. I re-watched this and realised that it's a little more childish than the later films and the acting could be better. Still watchable though, and if you watch this, I'm sure you'll want to watch the rest.
