Wow Isn't Cynthia Enviro is just an all round super star. Incredible acting, amazing singer & what a powerful character to play Harriet Tubman. My Favourite scene is when she is about to cross over into the Pennsylvania border with that gorgeous sunset. That was just a beautiful & moving scene. Also what she said to Gideon about God not meaning anyone to own anyone. The fact that she hears from God makes sense because theres no way she could have freed any of them without getting killed otherwise. Joe Alwyn did a great job with that accent too. Looking forward to seeing Joe playing more great characters. Also I like how the character Maria starts out all ladylike, until she has a gun in her hand lol, then out comes her ghetto side haha. Too funny. Thumbs up from me.

What powerful message, story and spiritual journey. I loved this. It is my new favourite movie of all time. I can not recommend it enough. The struggle and abuse was delicately portrayed in a manner that was powerful but accessible. The main character was played with passion and with depth. The story is engaging and educating. This had me biting me nails and hanging onto hope till the end. If you need a positive alternative try this movie. I found it inspirational.

Was misled by all the 5* reviews. Given the historical context I thought the movie would be great, but the production was average and the 'god' drivel was painful to watch.
