Harlock Space Pirate

This movie was beautiful and captivating from start to finish. Definitely didn't matter if you are a fan of anime or not, my dad watched and loved this movie too. Yeah OK the English dub was a bit dodge, but that would just be because it was originally done it Japanese (would have preferred to see it in Japanese if I am honest with English subtitles). I can't really pinpoint what hooked me in from story to CGI it was just overall perfect. I would definitely buy this movie on bluray if were to find it in a store. Brilliant.

The story is ok .The bad English dubbing does not help. Not sure if the CGI modelers were not given enough time or were just lazy, but you can clearly see they manipulated the same models to create multiple characters.

Based on an anime from long ago but given the modern make over - done in a way that will appeal to old and new fans.
