As one of Al Pacino's truest fans...ugh. I cannot understand why this movie was not a favorite of mine. He's still got that voice, but lost a bit of swagger and that's to be expected as we age, however....the direction was not up to snuff. I don't feel as though the director pulled Pacino's talent out again. I know he was an old retired cop and he played that really well, but when he came out of retirement he should have lost the "beat down" feeling he exuded throughout the whole movie. I still love him. Will always love him and will forgive him for this performance! Some of the script was fragmented and not easily flowing.

Don't know why this movie didn't do much much better at the box office people must have been asleep all 3 main characters were great it must have been setup for a hangman 2 but never made it what a shame

This was almost painful to watch. Who wrote this script? There's parts where it just seemed they used all the stereotypical cop lingo and I don't know how realistic it is to always refer to the players as the perp and vic.... really annoying. It's like they have a vocab list from Criminology 101 and they just have to use the words in the script. Of course Dr. Bones was awesome but it's time to retire Big Al.
