About this movie

The story is set against the backdrop of the United Nations Space Command (UNSC) military academy, where a group of highborn cadets are training to join the ongoing war with the outer colonial planets. For generations, humans traveled the stars and worked together to settle worlds under the banner of the UNSC. But that peace has been shattered by insurrectionists, causing a galaxy-spanning civil war to break out.

Among these cadets, Thomas Lasky struggles with doubts about the war and the burden of expectations he may not be able to carry. As he comes to terms with his potential as a military leader, the academy comes under attack from a terrifying and brutal alien assault. Lasky must fight to protect the academy and its students alongside a mysterious ally – an armoured super-soldier known only as the Master Chief – as their fates become entwined for decades to come.

Best out of the three halo films. Great CGI and acting. I think Kelly and the other sparten with master chief sound to child like and their faces don't match, but I can let it slip as they are child shoilders. Also Kelly's armour is different to her halo 5 and halo the package armour. Halo the package is featured in the animated short complication halo: legends which is on DVD and can be found on YouTube, legends is also a good watch to.

I started my gaming career on halo, and i see this movie as a plus to the halo trilogy, this is one of my favorite halo movies. and for the record if you've played halo 4 this movie actually fills in the blanks on the game... I.E the kid(Lasky) is a captain in halo 4 the game, had i not watch this movie i would not understand when master chief saved him in the jungle in the game, if it wasnt for the movie i wouldnt understand the background of halo 4 the game as well as i do know, this movie is a piece of a puzzle to halo 4 the game and should be recognized as a key to understanding halo... not to be criticized. This movie is a great addition and should be thought as so.

Despite what I heard about this movie I gave it a try, and I'm so glad I did. It was great, from the first time I saw the Lasky brothers relationship to the very end, l was devoted to the story. The trailer may have been misleading, but this movie is not about chief, its about Lasky and I love it. Lasky was great in Halo 4 and I'm glad he got his own movie. I recommend this to any real Halo fan.
