About this movie

Producer John Carpenter (Halloween, The Thing) presents the third chilling installment in the shocking Halloween collection. When a terrified toy salesman is mysteriously attacked and brought to the hospital, babbling and clutching the year's most popular Halloween costume, an eerie pumpkin mask, doctor Daniel Challis is thrust into a terrifying Halloween nightmare. Working with the salesman's daughter, Ellie, Daniel traces the mask to the Silver Shamrock Novelties company and its founder, Conal Cochran. Ellie and Daniel uncover Cochran's shocking Halloween plan and must stop him before trick-or-treaters across the country never come home in this terrifying thriller.

This is a great Halloween film! People are saying it sucks just because Michael Myers is not in the film. And some people just hate it for no reason! Alot of people hate it and have not even seen the movie! To me that is just annoying, but i would rate it at a Good film. On the ending of the film, you dont know how it ends, did those millions of people die or did they not? It makes you want to se a sequal of the film. John Carpenter did not want the whole franchise to be about Michael Myers.

Before watching, just forget, completely forget!!! the previous 2 which feature Michael Myers! This is a stand alone movie about Halloween - if you can wrap your head around that fact, it's a great movie!! Those who made this movie should never have put it in the series, with the Myers movies, ir at the very least made it known to audiences it wasn't a Michael Myers movie. Give it a chance!! It's a really good horror movie if you don't expect to see something that isn't there!!

This is a standalone story that does not include the story of Michael Myers. It happens to he my personal favorite outside the first Halloween original film. This one is absolutely creepy and quite true to the spirit of Halloween and carries a truly absorbent vision and atmosphere that John has the unique ability to express in the art of filmmaking. John has the mastery unlike anyone else to really evoke a flavor of darkness. Not to be missed.
