Was so attached to vol 1 that I could not appreciate the sequel on first viewing. Just watched it for the third time and cried my eyes out. Ridiculously good, and if you don't like it the first time, watch it once more and then again, once the first guardians is out of your mind you will finally get the beauty of the second.

Its strongest point was its visuals. It looked really good. The dialogue was also better than most similar films, but don't expect great things. Everything you liked in the first is back in the second, but the surprise has worn off.

I really liked this movie, more than the first one in fact. It's funny, the special effects are stunning, the plot was fresh and full of surprises (for me at least) and it ended on a far weightier note than I could've anticipated. Kudos. Unless you detest action hero movies... definitely see this.
