About this movie

Bill Murray is at his wry, wisecracking best in this riotous romantic comedy about a weatherman caught in a personal time warp on the worst day of his life. Teamed with a relentlessly cheerful producer (Andie MacDowell) and a smart-aleck cameraman (Chris Elliott), TV weatherman Phil Connors (Bill Murray) is sent to Punxsutawney, Pennsylvania, to cover the annual Groundhog Day festivities. But on his way out of town, Phil is caught in a giant blizzard, which he failed to predict, and finds himself stuck in small-town hell. Just when things couldn't get any worse, they do. Phil wakes the next morning to find it's Groundhog Day all over again... and again... and again. (Original Title - Groundhog Day) © 1993 Columbia Pictures Industries, Inc. All Rights Reserved.

Harold Ramis's enduring masterpiece. You might call it "Found in translation" We get to see Bill Murray at his jerk best coming, unrecognisably, to experience deep, enduring, satisfaction. See if you don't find yourself absorbed in this extraordinary, side splitting tale. Why buy it? It's wonderful movie to buy, because it it jam-packed with subtext and subtlety - you’ll see more, and more, and more each time you watch it. A great movie too, to show friends, and for family. This movie will change you. Not by preaching, but just by showing you a wonderful grouch discover a good life and share that precious secret with you.

One of the greats that can be watched over and over. This film is being turned into a musical (songs by Tim Minchin) and is out in the UK summer 2016.
