About this movie

Meet Big and Little Edie Beale—high-society dropouts, mother and daughter, reclusive cousins of Jackie O.—thriving together amid the decay and disorder of their ramshackle East Hampton mansion. An intimate portrait and an eerie echo of the Kennedy Camelot, Albert and David Maysles’s 1976 Grey Gardens quickly became a cult classic and established Little Edie as a fashion icon and philosopher queen.

Interesting, sad and surreal. This turned up on Turner Classic Movies this morning. Glad that I got to see it but also glad that I didn't pay for it. Very bizarrely entertaining.

Why are people soooo impressed with famous people? Had Jackie Kennedy not been part of it, it would NEVER had been made. It's super annoying. BIG WASTE OF TIME!

I am just fascinated and enamored by these 2 very unique women. The way they feed off of each other is fascinating! Little Edie was a true fashion Icon. Great movie!❤
