About this movie

Elle Reid (Lily Tomlin) has just gotten through breaking up with her girlfriend when her granddaughter, Sage, unexpectedly shows up needing $600 before sundown. Temporarily broke, Grandma Elle and Sage spend the day trying to get their hands on the cash, as their unannounced visits to old friends and flames end up rattling skeletons and digging up secrets.

Lily Tomlin swearing like a drunken sailor is not high comedy. Horrible movie. No funny lines, mediocre acting by the entire (miscast) cast and Rotten Tomatoes gives it a 91%...you simply cannot be serious.

Olivia could've given the baby up for adoption she was annoying the whole movie talking about mom said this mom said that but then you add abortion to it and she's even more annoying the grandma was funny even tho she was an ass this movie sends a weird message too plus if you don't wanna a baby don't freaking get pregnant in the first place like what

At every opportunity, glorifying the worst: self-centeredness, sexism, religious bigotry, and uncategorical rudeness. There isn't a scene in this movie that elevates it above the disgusting plot.
