About this movie

In this gritty, realistic sci-fi action epic, Godzilla returns to its roots as one of the world's most recognized monsters. Directed by Gareth Edwards and featuring an all-star international cast, this spectacular adventure pits Godzilla against malevolent creatures that, bolstered by humanity's scientific arrogance, threaten our very existence.

Total crap! I wrote this review not because i did not like some of the way they redone the story or how Godzilla himself looked which is 100% improvement over Matthew Brodwick version. I gave such a poor review because Godzilla is bigger then life and we all know why we watched the old classic Godilla movies was because 1. Its a movie about him and 2. We all loved his non stop battles! You cannot hide the star of the movie and expect people to like a movie where actors get all the attention, they sucked!

I grew up watching Godzilla movies so I was really excited for this one. It was cool to see a real version of Godzilla rather than the 1998 version. However, Godzilla I did not get the screen time he deserved for a movie named after him. It was awesome when he finally appeared, only to have it cut short to show the humans. Godzilla get extra stars because I am a lifelong fan, but I have to take some points away for so little screen time for the big guy.

The visuals are nice. But with a total of 1 minute 30 seconds of monster fighting, in a movie that's suppose to be about monsters fighting, it misses it's point fully. This should've been called 121 min. of bad acting with a lizard and totally NOT mothra. (Working title) With massive plot holes that are almost insultingly stupid, and characters who seem to have failed their IQ test, this movie is one to be missed. If you do watch it, I'm sorry you wasted time and money on this mess.
