Listen up. I think this movie is great. But still i have the chance to tell billions of people this. If all you can do is criticize a movie of female actors than boo hoo. They did use the cast from the original movie. And one last thing that is totally unrelated. GET UP FROM YOUR SEAT WATCHING TV AND MAKE A DIFFERENCE IN THE WORLD.

Great actresses who had great performances! But the film itself was a horrible slap in the face for everyone that is a fan of the original films. It should have been a continuation with Sigourney Weaver in the lead role with Bill Murray and her son Oscar leading the new team. Instead we get parody cameos and a movie full of unoriginal comedy that is mediocre at it's best. There were some funny one liners, and the movie had it's moments, but those were all few and far between.

At great risk of sounding sexist, women tend to miss the mark when it comes to being properly funny. I see what they were going for with this movie, and so I watched it without holding it up to an expectation of being like the classic Ghostbusters. It just wasn't funny. Every joke was half baked and the acting overdone. Effects are low budget and the actresses failed their potentials. Sorry. Not a good movie. It lacks in story, storytelling, heart and soul.
