I was disturbed that Anti-Semitism at Darien, CT. was not portrayed correctly, in that, Roman Catholics (referred to as “Christians”) took over the town. Ireland & Italy were allowed to immigrate to the area, but Jews were restricted by changed 1920’s laws. Roman Catholics invaded the area & controlled the Protestant churches, overthrew the Republican Party & saturated the Democratic Party rendering Jews, Judeo-Christians & African Americans helpless.

This an amazing movie that deals with anti-semitism in a America. Every bit of acting is outstanding. Gregory Peck exemplifies the good will that true Americans should show to everyone. It goes beyond just anti-semitism and is something every person should see.
