Furry Vengeance

Sadly, using cartoony slapstick comedy in an eco-friendly film is not going to deliver the good messages to families about saving the environment and the animals, because this message has been swamped by the cartoony slapstick and unrealistic elements. Making "Furry Vengeance" unrealistic, uninspired, and unconvincing. Not to mention that this is largely a brainless exercise. For redeemable qualities, some of the characters do take the problem about habitat destruction seriously. Dee Bradley Baker provided the amazing vocalizations for all of the animals big and small, from the Raccoon (the leader of all the animals), to the white weasel (the smallest animal in the movie), to the grizzly bear (the largest animal in the movie). The CGI effects and practical effects are noticeably cheap. As a comedy, it's not a laugh-out-loud comedy at all, but I did chuckle at least twelve times due to the good timing, the comical tone that was handled well, and a couple of over-the-top reactions by Brendan Fraser, but most of these comical moments that I chuckled at are now forgettable, even Brendan Fraser is not that funny, even though I laughed at his reactions at times (this might be his worst). Also, as a whole, most of the comedy is preposterous and a little more painful. There is a huge amount of weird acting that I find cringe-worthy (particularly from Ken Jeong), and there is one character (an old woman) that is portrayed as a typical dim-witted cartoon character. The music score by Edward Shearmur is just a decent score for this family comedy with woodland creatures. I love how there is some script writing for the trained animals which makes it cute to watch, but after the people who saw what these animals did in the movie, they will end up believing that animals do get up to mischief like that. Some of the script writing for the human characters are stupid and pretty thin. Kids will not know the difference between what's real and what is fake when they watch this movie, but on top of that, kids do know the difference between what's real and what's fake, because they are smarter than this. In conclusion: In spite of it's chuckle-worthy moments and a few redeemable qualities, "Furry Vengeance" fails as an eco-friendly movie for families due to it's unrealistic approach and the fact that it is a comedy. Not Recommended.

I loved it I laughed from beginning too end. I'm an animal lover as well and this movie had me laughing so hard and so much it was awesome need more movies like this

How do the actors become a more creative than ever before as they could in putting their characters to a ever rigorous test and who would want to be in the middle of that?
