From the Dark

Superbly crafted horror flick! Very intense and scary. The female lead has big balls, especially compared to her whimpering, useless boyfriend. She's a Ripley.

I liked the way the movie set up the story to tie the couple in. It also had quite a few moments that made me jump

The beginning ....a man working in a peat farm...digging until he spots something buried amongst the peat...a hand of somebody. Dark is falling so he nips back to his tractor to get his torch..The hand of somebody has vanished leaving a bigger hole where the thing must have escaped... A couple going on vacation and the car gets stuck in mud... the guy goes to find help and stumbles across a farmhouse..... the guy who was originally digging on the peat farm appears but covered in blood and then he turns..................everything turns crazy.......there is just one survivor..............
