When it focuses on spaceflight the film shines, but when it comes to the human portion of the film it feels sterile and lifeless (I get the feeling things where left on the editing floor), and perhaps if it was made in the form of a mini series it would have had more time and room to really be something special. Not really worth re-watching if you have seen it once.

I was in sainsburys earlier thinking hmm shall I buy this on 4k or not? Decided to buy it on Hd on Google play as it was 10 quid etc Tried watching on 65" Bravia on wifi and 55" LG on lan- Google aren't taking streaming seriously anymore - OK the hd version is cheaper than the bluray but there's only ten colours &the feed is full of noise and the sound is utter garbage! This will be the last film we ever buy on this platform (sadly) as the quality is a joke! Our advise is buy the DVD and upscale!

Deffinately a family drama with the addition of an extraordinary day job. The cinematography and lighting was good, as was the period settings. What I was a bit disappointed by, was the lack of focus on the moon landing. The film places focus on the protagonist and the drama of disaster, but there is no overview on the surroundings. I don't know whether this was because of budget or a deliberate act of viewing only from the protagonists view. The family scenes were quite dysfunctional.
