Katie Holmes stars as First Daughter Samantha Mackenzie - a sheltered young woman who just wants a normal school experience, away from the influence of her parents. Only trouble is, her dad (Michael Keaton) is the President of the United States! Now living thousands of miles away from the White House, Sam hopes that being out on her own means she'll be free of the constraints of being the First Daughter. Everywhere she turns though, there's a Secret Service agent at the ready, and her fellow freshmen won't let her stop being the most famous student in the country. But that won't stop Samantha!
