About this movie

In 1917, outside the parish of Fátima, Portugal, a 10-year-old girl and her two younger cousins witness multiple visitations of the Virgin Mary, who tells them that only prayer and suffering will bring an end to WW I. Word of the sighting spreads across the country, inspiring religious pilgrims to flock to the site in hopes of witnessing a miracle. Inspired by real-life events and starring Goran Višnjic (Beginners), Stephanie Gil (Terminator: Dark Fate) and Lúcia Moniz (Love, Actually), with Sônia Braga (Aquarius) and Harvey Keitel (The Piano, The Irishman), Fatima is an uplifting story about the power of faith.

For the whole length of the movie nothing really new happens. Just the same repetitive things praying and constantly asking the girl if she's lying. That about sums it all up. Not worth the $5.99 maybe $1.99. Also I'd like to note how I'm not that hard to please when watching movies I usually love the movies others may view as being boring or not worth their time this movie however had me half asleep.

The third vision was very apocalyptic and was a warning. The Catholic Church doesn't like to talk about the 3rd vision. I believe the visions were genuine, but I also think the Catholic Church needs serious reforms, and the Fatima story should not deflect attention from the serious scandals of the Church. I would like to see a documentary on how the Church is dealing with the terrible sex abuse cases.

Trash movie. Trash price. Googles jewish money prices added onto whatever this is. Religious folk should spend less time whitewashing films and more time keeping their crotches off the mouths of children.
