So the reviews of this movie were off by a large percentage. I found that people reviewing this movie were the type that as growing up never took the fantastic four for what they are. The idea that you could take what you are given and make it better then it was. They just read the comic and enjoyed the colorful pictures on paper. The director of this movie made it out of thought and imagination that was believable. And in the end paved the way for something better to come of it. This movie takes the imagination and sculpts it to something more believable. The previous creations were modeled after the comic book and torn from the pages. This one builds upon what could be and give you the basis to build your own world from that. To me this move was a great start. I am sad to see that many people being blinded by reviewers that match it to the comic book and not to the purpose of the comic story. I hope that you will find what I know be true and enjoy this movie as much as I have.

Some things I will say about this movie is that it is far better than the 2005-07 renditions, this movie somewhat takes the basis of the comic and makes it more believable, this movie perfectly portrays how the fantastic four would be treated and used were they to exist in the real world, the dark and gritty tone this movie took upon itself was necessary seeing as how this fantastic four would co-exist in the x-men universe as well as in the deadpool universe, so of course they needed to make this movie just as dark and gritty as those movie franchises, it's only logical, my final verdict about this movie is that this movie does lack action and good effects and acting in some parts, but it makes up for it with a pretty interesting plot about four teenagers who travel to an alternate dimension for glory, recognition, and the chance to make a difference in the world, only to be met by a disastrous fate in which they are unwillingly given powers and are forced to do the government's bidding against their will. P.S. better Victor Von Doom than 2005-07s Rendition, but a worse doctor doom than 2005-07s rendition

Man this was one of the worst movies I've seen in a while. Very anti-climactic and just really boring. The first hour where they go back and show how everyone got their powers is so slow, and Doom was defeated in about 4 minutes of a "final battle" if you could call it that. And for the people who say it's a good movie, you obviously don't know the difference between a good and a bad movie. This movie had absolutely nothing going for it; I would've rated 0 stars but I can't...
