About this movie

From the director of The Bourne Identity comes this riveting thriller inspired by the experiences of real-life CIA officer Valerie Plame (Academy Award nominee Naomi Watts). When Plame's retired ambassador husband Joe Wilson (played by Academy Award winner Sean Penn) writes a newspaper article challenging the basis for the U.S. war on Iraq, the White House leaks Plame's undercover status-leaving her international contacts vulnerable, her career in shambles and her life in danger. Crackling with sharp dialogue, gripping intrigue and heart-pounding suspense, Fair Game is the adventure that's so unbelievable, it can only be real.

This is a solid movie and Valerie and her husband were very brave. I watched another movie called Kill the Messenger 2 days ago. At the end it gave the results,as this movie did, & the CIA was responsible for bringing in crack cocaine & introducing it into our society and it is still killing her babies as they lay in there oxygen tanks dying because CIA worked with Nicaragua to bring in six million dollars worth of crack cocaine per day from the second drug dealer down, not the boss, from the boss it was so much more. The CIA agents that spoke about it on record said that they ended up being mules instead of protecting the country and doing what was right they were turned into mules to bring more crack cocaine into this country because they needed money for guns because they did not like President Reagan and his idea to end the war on drugs. We do not matter. We do not know anything- . They only tell us on certain television stations the ones that support the Democrats what they want us to know and other television stations the ones that support Republicans what they want us to know hopefully Trump can change this because he says what everybody else is thinking but does not say it.

This kind of damage does not just go on at the White House. I believe that it also goes on in religion, especially the very secretive types worth billions and will do anything to save their reputation. While I may not have lead the most holy of lives, at least I can say that I don't hide the truth. I don't claim to be "the truth" like some religions however I can say how disgusted I am at how they TARGET those that speak out against the perversion within. This is not ALL people that attend these "meetings" are or have committed crimes, I believe most go in with a heart to learn the word of god while this was political film I couldn't help but see the hypocrisy and corruption that goes on at the very place you go to seek solace. Religion. Politics at what point to you say enough? Naomi Watts did a superb job in the film. Loved the movie. Especially when the story is true.

Great movie overall. Very impressed on several levels: (a) acting by Naomi Watts and Sean Penn was great (hint, the last 20-30 minutes is really really good!) (b) cinematic approach to the subject matter was very well done. Ties in aspects of family life, lives of each of the two main characters as individuals, their professional lives, world / political issues, as well as actual video clips from the time period - all balanced well together Overall excellent execution of a story and delivery of good underlying lessons.
