I really enjoyed this. It's gory, obscene, scary as hell and a whole lot of bloody fun. Pun intended. It shares some similarities with the original, but it's more than a carbon copy. It gives modern audiences -- who are getting harder to shock and scare -- something disgusting and unexpected to marvel at. Where 'Cabin in the Woods' unmakes the horror film, 'Evil Dead' rebuilds it.

Looks like it would be a waste of my download rations. Lots of technotronica sounds In trailer, flashing, screaming n bla bla bla. That's not the essence of scary. . But maybe it's simply not for me.

It's very gruesome & gory so it's not for the faint hearted or those with weak stomach. If you loved the original Evil Dead then this will not disappoint.
