About this movie

What if you couldn’t touch anything in the outside world? Never breathe in the fresh air, feel the sun warm your face…or kiss the boy next door? “Everything, Everything” tells the unlikely love story of Maddy, a smart, curious and imaginative 18-year-old who due to an illness cannot leave the protection of the hermetically sealed environment within her house, and Olly, the boy next door who won’t let that stop them. Maddy is desperate to experience the much more stimulating outside world, and the promise of her first romance. Gazing through windows and talking only through texts, she and Olly form a deep bond that leads them to risk everything to be together…even if it means losing everything.

New story, but the mom left me a little empty. Not sure if she was crazy or just confused, so it left me a tad confused. Loved their love affair, although a bit quick. It was a clean and enjoyable movie. Visually stimulating as well. And 5 stars for the part of the story seeing a young black girl having a pure love experience. We need more stories like these.

I adore EVERYTHING about this movie! I loved the book and maybe the movie even more. This movie was long overdue. I"ll soon be 39-years-old and I can't remember a movie EVER telling the story of black girl falling in love and being loved on. The closest was Zebrahead and Love & Basketball. But Zebrahead was more about how controversial interracial relationships are and kind of depressing. And Love & Basketball was acted by adults who played younger people and then spanned into their adult years. But nothing like this. This was heaven and brought me back to my teens. I cried and not because the movie is sad (it's not), but because I didn't know how much my 13-18-year-old self needed to see it.

This movie helps us understand what happens when you keep things to yourself when you dont tell the truth to your clost friend, parent,or kid. They help you understand if you dont know things for sure you should ask to make sure or try things out in a better way so you could learn better. You should always try things out even if you arent sure,it never hurts to try no matter what happens in life where you are,or why you do the things you do..💙💜💛💚
