I’ve never watched a movie that I’ve genuinely felt so much impact from while the events are actually happening due to the fact it did such an incredible job being so relatable. Some of the most standout aspects of this movie are the flawlessly executed camera work & the emotionally capturing dialogue, both synergizing to showcase genuine genius. Being an absolute avid fan of Bo Burnham’s previous work in music & comedy, his translation of events throughout the movie are incredibly apparent which is one of my personal favourite qualities. The sequence soundtrack in this movie is one of the best I’ve ever experienced, gifting us with impactful tone paired with perfect delivery. Altogether, an extraordinary film in which I recommend to absolutely anyone.

Eighth Grade is a deeply personal story about coming of age in a digital world. I cannot recommend this movie enough. Bo Burnham has, in the past, talked about his experience and belief that the "always on" culture we live in does damage to our own mental health and relationships. This movie is a pure extension of that belief into a feature-length film. Must-watch.
