About this movie

From Tim Burton comes an unforgettable fairy tale starring Johnny Depp, Wynona Ryder, Dianne Wiest and Vincent Price as the Inventor. Once upon a time in a castle high on a hill lived an inventor whose greatest creation was named Edward. Although Edward had an irresistible charm, he wasn't quite perfect. The inventor's sudden death left him unfinished, with sharp shears of metal for hands. Edward lived alone in the darkness until one day a kind Avon lady took him home to live with her family. And so began Edward's fantastical adventures in a pastel paradise known as Suburbia.

Sad, funny, fictional because of the castle like big house he lived in, and normal society is not as getting as close to everybody, in the movie the neighbors were more like a big family, but brilliant.🤗🙂 I felt very sorry when Eddie was very kind and helpful to all of his new friends neighbors and he did nice things for all of them and then he really did nothing wrong but everyone then turned against Eddie made a witch-hunt on him and wanted to kill Eddie. One of my favorites top 30.😄

A very intense actor Johnny Depp crying out for a better storyline and stronger co stars , very entertaining and must be watched with fresh eyes , I was entertained yet fully aware the movie was lacking, well done Johnny Depp for your exceptional gift for putting everything into this character. The idea for Edward Scissorhands was a brilliant one, perhaps a remake would be marvellous with a much older Johnny Depp and Winona Ryder.

A visually dated but beautiful film. The character Johnny Depp creates is simply stunning. The story is warming, yet heart breaking. A true lesson in how we shouldn't judge a person on their looks.
