Earwig and the Witch

Obviously feels very off for a studio Ghibli movie, however i enjoyed it. The CG personally still looks good to me (feels kinda stop-motion). I liked the characters and the music in this film is really great. However the story does feel very unfinished and the ended just leaves you with more questions. It feels as though there is supposed to be a series of sequel follow up...but there won't be. Anyway, I still really liked this movie and i feel it was fun!

Disappointing. Feels unfinished. Like seeing the first 15 minutes of the first episode of a series. It just ends out of nowhere. Feels like all they did was set up the premise, gave us the backstory -- roll credits. I kept waiting for the setup to end so we could start the story.

Although CG in this movie needs some improvement (Personally, it did not bother me), the most important part of the movie is the story at the end of the day. Miyazaki Goro has improved a lot from his first movie, 'Tales from Earthsea'.
