About this movie

Jim Carrey and Jeff Daniels reprise their signature roles as Lloyd and Harry in the sequel to the smash hit that took the physical comedy and kicked it in the nuts: Dumb and Dumber To. The original film’s directors, Peter and Bobby Farrelly, take Lloyd and Harry on a road trip to find a child Harry never knew he had and the responsibility neither should ever, ever be given. Along for the ride are co-stars Kathleen Turner, Laurie Holden, and Rob Riggle. - 2014 Universal Studios. All Rights Reserved.

I viewed the original dumb and dumber yesterday for the 80th time and I laughed out loud over a 100 times still. Viewing the sequel for the first time, first showing opening day mind you. I laughed out loud 3 times. The original was my favorite movie since I was 10. My whole life I was looking forward to this and knew if it was ever made it wouldn't be that good but still hilarious just to see these guys in costume again. That's about all that was funny with this movie.

But its awful, its insulting and its offensive! Ive always disliked Carrey and his gluteus talking fantasy of being a struggling actor and sitting on mullholland and picturing a 10 million dollar check. HES A HACK! And worse is a man who had gain so much respect with newsroom would sell out for this dreck, its like Jeff Daniels makes me ashamed to be named Jeff! DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY.. I ONLY DID TO SAVE YALL... PLEASE HEED THIS AND WATCH IT FOR FREE. DO NOT GIVE JIM CARREY ANOTHER PENNY. (wow biased?)

The pity of this film from its first frame to its last is that it runs in the opposite direction of the elements of humor, success and fun of the first. Jim is always all in but he cannot save this film in any capacity as the script writers refuse to put any words in his mouth or any action in his body or any environment around him to assist him in what he does best. This lazy and tired film is the expression of all elements of filmmaking failure and the only people to blame are the writers and directors.
