About this movie

In this psychological thriller from Blumhouse Productions and legendary screenwriter David Koepp (Jurassic Park, Mission: Impossible, Panic Room), Kevin Bacon and Amanda Seyfried star as a couple seeking a restful vacation in a remote home in the Welsh countryside. What at first seems like a perfect retreat distorts into a terrifying nightmare when reality begins to unravel, dark episodes from the past resurface, and a sinister force in the house refuses to let them leave.

Die Story ist selbst für mysteriethriller Verhältnisse total schwachsinnig. Aber ich hatte 7-8 mal echt Schüttelfrost und Gänsehaut. Bei Horrorfilme habe ich eigentlich nie Gänsehaut. Bei Psychothrillern oft nur 1-2-3 mal im Film. Aber dieser Film hat mich richtig durchgeschüttelt. Ich glaube Vorallen durch den Ton.

Sehr guter Film, mit einem 1 A Kevin Bacon in der Hauptrolle. Jedoch eher was für Leute, die es lieben, wenn ein Film eine Message enthält. Die Aufmachung ist ungewohnt, aber interessant und im Verlauf steigt die Spannung. 👍

Viel Mysterium, aber gut gemacht... Der Start beginnt recht harmlos, entpuppt sich aber schnell zu einem Psychospiel, dass gekonnt Spannung und eine interessante Geschichte bietet.
