Dragon Ball Super: Broly

Years ago I got rid of a few old DBZ movies DB Path to Power, DBZ Legendary Super Sayain Broly, and a few others now I really regret that I got rid of em. This was very disappointing, Broly is so pathetic now, way too kid friendly for me, thumbs down.

DBS: Broly takes the few great things that came from the original Broly movie, and adds i all the amazing things from Battle of Gods. Beautiful animation, incredible fights, and honestly one of the best character arcs seen in Dragon Ball since around the Z era. Now, before you watch this movie, I want you to keep something in mind. This is not Goku's movie. This is not Vegeta's movie. This is Broly's movie. He is our star, even when he's going up against our two favourite Saiyans. This is the story about someone who can't handle his true strength, and the dark turn as it takes over him. A big issue with Resurrection F was the lack of tension, and while this movie has the same element that ruined the tension in the last film, (cough cough, Beerus) this movie works with that. It's a Dragon Ball movie. Of course Goku is going to win, but that's not the tension in this one. The tension in this one is what happens to Broly. Overall, everything about this movie gets an A+ from me. Brilliant writing, incredible acting (seriously Sabat, what did you do to Vic to get him to yell like that?) stunning animation, and a story that had me laughing, tensing up, and even tearing up. Amazing.

Im not really into Dragonball anymore. Havent been for years. But i heard good things about this movie and figured i have a son now who might like it. We both had a blast. The animation is really spectacular especially during fights.
