About this movie

Although there have been numerous screen versions of Bram Stoker's classic tale, none is more enduring than the 1931 original. The ominous portrayal of Count Dracula by Bela Lugosi, combined with horror specialist director Tod Browning, help to create the film's eerie mood. Dracula remains a masterpiece not only of the genre, but for all time.

**Edit: Apparently there is a version with music, but I can only seem to find the soundtrack.** Good, but there needs to be an edition of this film that has music. Throughout the film, I don't think there's much of *any* score. Maybe it's a 30's thing, but I just think that music would make it better and far more appealing to modern audiences. I have to say, though, I loved Bela as Dracula, and it was cool to see the film that served as a basis for modern portrayals of the legendary vampire.

This Movie is Great! Great Acting Great Cinematography, and it's just in all aspects an AMAZING movie! But if you are looking for a faithful adaptation of Bran Stokers Original book (Which what was i was looking for when seeing this movie). This may not be the movie you are looking for since it deviates very farley from the original book. Don't let that get you down though! This movie is, as i said above, tremendous, and people should see it just for its Amazing directing and its place in history!

One of the greatest monster movies of all time. This Google release is, however, a major disappointment. With all the effort Universal went to to restore the film to its glory, Google's offering is repleat with pops, clicks, buzzing, weathered visuals, etc. A copy that has had trouble withstanding the effects of time. Save your money and look for a better, restored copy.
