Today's Doctor Who fans should do some research before they comment. BBC commissioned this movie. Saying that it is a cheap knock off is an insult. By today's standard it looks cheap but in the 60's this was top of the line. Most of today's so called fans haven't even watched old Doctor Who. They know the name Sarah Jane but never seen her interaction with Tom Baker in order to understand that she was the best companion ever. Please watch the early episodes.

Back in the early 60's this and "Invasion Earth" were made as Doctor Who feature films. The people bitching about the credits, "Peter Cushing as Dr. Who", clearly know nothing about the show before 2005. The character was billed as "Dr. Who" or "Doctor Who" for DECADES. This isn't a "cheap knock off", it's an official film adaption that is ignored in the canon continuity proper, but regarded as fans as the fictionalized memoirs of original companions Ian and Barbara. Do some research, kids.

I enjoyed watching the movie. It had the same story line as the original dalek story, but with color, which I really like. I love the color designs of the daleks, especially the red dalek because my favorite color is red. I not only like the daleks, but I also like everything else. The only thing I don't like is that I can only rent it, not buying it. If I were to keep this movie like a bought movie, I would have to constantly keep repaying it when the rental expires. If there is any possibility to have the option to buy this movie, I would love it even more.
