The movie picks up a little after where the Downton Abbey TV series left off, with all the main characters returning to play a part. The movie largely retains the feel and is an upbeat one, leaving you in a good mood by the end of it. The story is left open ended at some places, making it likely that there are going to be more movie(s) or series in the future. One complaint is only Japanese subtitles were available for the movie. The 'subtitles available' is not clear at the time of renting.
