This movie is really dumb. No suspense, the characters are idiots, and none of it makes any sense. They were never trapped in the room, because dude was flung out of the window by the dog miraculously. They never ran when they should have, and just all around made stupid decisions. Everyone knows that once you are blind all of your senses increase. They were also aware that he was an army vet, and any dumbass knows that training comes with being in the military. Just stupid... Really disappointed with this since it got such a high rating on rotten tomatoes. I guess I'm missing something, but oh well.

The majority of people on here who're giving this movie less then three stars didn't know what they were getting into. It was obviously meant to disturb you, doesn't mean it's bad, it just isn't your kind of movie. I'm rating it three stars just because I expected more from the creators of the Evil Dead remake. This movie just felt empty, not much was going on and at times where you were supposed to be on the edge of your seat, instead it felt like it dragged. This movie had alot of potential.

The whole thing was kind of interesting but not enough to justify investing time and money in it. I think the greatest flaw this film has is that the story is really simple. Basically, three people break in to the home of an aging military veteran and get what's coming to them. The three people's backstories constitute roughly 1/3 of the movie. Considering the plainness of the story itself, it manages to be more intersting than it couldve beeen...
