About this movie

Pack your bags for more fun, more laughs and more “wimpy” mischief! In Diary of a Wimpy Kid: The Long Haul, the Heffley family road trip to Meemaw’s 90th birthday party takes a wild detour thanks to Greg’s newest scheme to attend a video gaming convention. Every diary of a wimpy kid movie ever made makes me want to t-bag a bear trap and drink the finest clorox bleach, because for each millisecond of screen time this movie has, you will most likely loose ten of your precious iq points. Dont watch it for your own good, and if you do see them, may God have mercy on your soul.

This Movie is absolute garbage. They quite litteraly took everything that was good about the original Diary of a Wimpy kid movies and threw it in the dumpster. The acting is awful, the "jokes" aren't funny, and not to mention the awful casting, I mean, NO ONE is good in this, at all! So do not buy this movie, only show it to your children if you want to punish them.

This movie has the same feel, energy, and atmosphere as the other three movies before it even from the starting titles, and because this movie also has heart and care in the story just like the other three the only thing different is the new cast. Hope people don't count against that or stop them from going to watch. That would be a great shame. It's not all that often that a new cast from an ongoing franchise can keep to the same heart, and humor and laughs as the original before it, but these new actors, and actresses in this new installment keeps the same pace as what made the original cast members really great. Definitely worth a watch just like the others.
