This Movie is one of the best Hitchcock films ever. Grace Kelly really did her part as the most innocent house wife perfectly. She played the character part perfectly, without seeming phony as some females often do. This movie is listed under the genre' as a horror flick ... BUT rightly so, if you watched this when it first came out. But shamefully by todays standards it could be placed under the mystery or suspense label. At most , thriller. I will watch this again ... Hope this helps you in watching a marvelous movie.

This was a superbly written stageplay that Hitchcock superbly adapted for the screen. Top drawer talent in the writing, directing, and acting. For my money, this is one of Hitchcock's best.
