About this movie

From Kathryn Bigelow, the award-winning director of THE HURT LOCKER and ZERO DARK THIRTY, comes this gripping film based on the true story of one of the most terrifying secrets in American history. Good film but my only issue was with the starting credits where it refers to the Atlantic Slave Trade as a "Great Migration". Sorry but a migration just seems inappropriate verbage, most migration is more voluntary in nature. Perhaps migrating out of a war zone may be involuntary but at least the migrant is going where they prefer / choose. The Slave Trade had 0 choice.

Sad events, brutal that police /humans let this happen, but you watch in disbelief only to have a more unjust ending. Leaves you slightly more educated on the events that happened but really dissatisfied with the justice system.
