Den of Thieves

Fax copy of Heat. Good production, technically. Story, main character were generic. The twist at the end seemed to have been grasped from thin air. The only interesting aspects were the crooks and the heists. Rest is forgettable. Rent, don't buy.

Will this be rated better than Heat, probably not but don’t let reviews saying it’s not as good as Heat put you off. It may be on Heat on the script paper but you have to put that to one side and concentrate on what’s on in front of you, This film starts of with plenty of action and it ticks over at a nice pace as the story builds and the characters unfold. I thought this was a great film and it certainly kept me interested right to the very end. Gerald Butler was superb in this role, defiantly one of his better films, overall well worth a watch if you are a fan of the Heist style film. For me a strong film, good action, great story and plenty of action to keep the Heat fans happy, particularly the shoot out in the road works.. This film sneaks into my favourite top ten films.

Actually a good movie a bit like the movie Heat, there is a great twist at the end that you wouldnt expect, its a bit long for the type of movie it is, but it is a lot better than i expected and they also set it up so there could be a sequel.
