Originally rated X for graphic scenes of rape, the film cut 2 minutes to get an R rating. This is not a film for the faint hearted, or Liberals. There is a graphic 3 minute rape scene near the start, no penetration shown, but full nudity of female. In the uncut version, whipping is shown as well. Bronson nails the roll in this dark film that surpasses the original. The kills are more cold and brutal. The satisfaction of thugs getting blown away is better, and the soundtrack done by Jimmy Page is a treat for the ears. Join Bronson on the streets of L.A. as he seeks to get revenge.

Death Wish 2 is the best in the series. The original was good but Death Wish 2 is better. Thugs attack Paul Kersey's home and murder the housekeeper aswell as rape her, kidnap and kill the daughter then Kersey (Charles Bronson) goes out on the streets of Los Angeles looking for them and kills them one at a time. Scenes of violence and sexual images, Death Wish 2 is a film that cannot be ignored and a classic.

This is definitely one that pushed the envelope for the early 80's graphic violence standard. The rape attack scene is disturbing. But, imagine what it would have done to a real Paul Kersey? I loved Bronsons mild mannered style and patience. Then ...."Say hello to my little friend!"! of course his "I see you believe in Jesus"? quote is timeless! One of the classic 80's action films, and Bronson is still one of my favorite action guys .He doesnt need to say too much, or drop yippy kai yea's or make my days? When he pulls the trigger , either you'r gonna meet jesus, or your boom box needs your dental records to be identified!! Is that a Sony or a Molur???
