About this movie

Dr. Paul Kersey (Bruce Willis) is a surgeon who only sees the aftermath of his city’s violence as it’s rushed into his ER – until his wife (Elisabeth Shue) and college-age daughter (Camila Morrone) are viciously attacked in their suburban home. With the police overloaded with crimes, Paul, burning for revenge, hunts for his family’s assailants to deliver justice.

Why the negative reviews from critics? Imo, I think this is one of the better remakes out there. Yes, revenge thrillers are released on a regular basis upon us, but Eli Roth has done a great job bringing a classic back for a new generation.

I went in not expecting much but came out of the other side quite liking it one of Bruce willis's best films in a long time doesn't take itself too seriously a film you can just switch off and enjoy

Well played role by Bruce Willis. One of the better remakes of modern days. Definitely worth a watch, ignore the critics who got this one very wrong :-)
