Dawn of the Planet of the Apes

Definitely, the best POTA movie ever With a mix of good story and action (and sometimes humor), DOTPOTA is definitely up there not only as the greatest planet of the apes movie, but as another great addition to the greatest sci-fi movies of all time (without being a comic book superhero movie). The only minor setback with it is that they had to throw in one f bomb that felt out of place and unnecessary. But besides that, definitely, worth watching.

Let me just say I loved the old movies; for they had a great story line, and a brutal fued. But the new sequel is fantastically action packed and I hope there will be another.

This movie is superbly paced. Two well-meaning leaders slowly & inevitably glide towards war by forces they really can't control. Metaphors for modern & historical conflicts abide.
